It’s finally here and I got it… PatchCon: Defend the Library!
For those that don’t know what I’m talking about… Take Touhou and add Real Time Strategy and you get this, a creation of Tasogare Frontier.

I downloaded the game, and tried playing it, but it says it’s missing something. Can anyone help?

You must be missing a directX 9.0c file. Google search for the file you are missing and then put that .dll file into C:/Windows/System32 and it should work. If not just put that file into the PatchCon folder.

Try downloading DirectX 9.0c and install it.

The install might be 33.5 MB but this might fix the problem…

I’ve downloaded the newest directX and it still shows an error -.-
How big is ur PatchCon folder? Mine is 568 Mb big and it contains 6 files.
The d3dx9_33 thing is already downloaded an the only problem is the directX error. i googled like 2 hours now and found nothing…

Yes, same here….. My patchcon file is 175 mgs, and contains 4 files. It also says something about the directX….. I wonder how many people are getting this problem….

The folder should be around 175 MB and should have 4 files. If you are missing a file then just download it and put it into that folder also. If not then do you have a screenshot of the error message?

Yes, but since my CPU can’t read japanese, the letters are broken. All I can read is, DirectX error at the top part, then at the middle, it says D3D something.

Is DirectX and Direct3D enabled? I think that’s the problem then from what you are showing me…

First right-click and goto your Display Properties. On the settings tab click Advanced. Then click the troubleshoot tab and see if your Hardware Acceleration is set at least to 4 notches or high so that DirectX and Direct3D is enabled. If that’s the case then don’t read on. If it is then do the following…
Goto Start and then click on run. Type in dxdiag and hit enter. Once it runs, click the Display tab and check to see if they are enabled. If not then enable them.
If this doesn’t work then I’m out of ideas.

I think I found out the problem, but I cannot fix it. Apparently, my direct3d 9 isn’t available because my hardware cannot support it. It says I have to buy some new stuff to fix the problem. Well, I don’t want to pay just to play this game….. Thx for all the help.

Its something about DirectSoundBuffer, And the firts error is incomprehensible.
